After IBM has not led to the production NV40 graphics processor in sufficient quantities in 2004,NVIDIA decided to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company as its strategic partner in the manufacture of chips.Since then nearly all NVIDIA graphics chips were produced by TSMC with 1 or 2 exceptions.Apparently,NVIDIA wants to keep this situation in the future.Earlier this month there were rumors that NVIDIA plans to use the power of Samsung Electronics and/or for the production of certain Global Foundries multimedia or graphics processors.Given the very close relationship between NVIDIA and TSMC,this news has become very important for both companies. As a result during the reporting tele conference with investors and financial analysts this week led NVIDIA was asked about future production partner companies.Jen-Hsun Huang, executive director of NVIDIA,neither confirmed nor denied the plan capacity utilization Samsung and/or Global Foundries but he made it clear that TSMC will remain a strategic partner of the production company. We always look at all the contract manufacturer of chips, TSMC remains our most strategic partner :said Mr. Huang.

NVIDIA: TSMC Remain Important Industrial Partner
TSMC company recently confirmed that it will begin production of chips using 16-nm technology with transistors with a vertical shutter FinFET in the 3rd quarter of this year. Its much later than Samsung Electronics and even Global Foundries. In addition the processes of 14-nm FinFET have mentioned companies promise to be more progressive than 16-nm FinFET,which will offer TSMC.During the conference call,NVIDIA has not said any thing new about its future products or manufacturing processes, but confirmed that its 16-nm test chips FinFET fully meet the high standards of the company.TSMC is fantastic supplier their FinFET process technologies are excellent, said the executive director of NVIDIA.We are working with TSMC over their FinFET chips for more than two years so we seriously believe in their ability to produce excellent FinFET Transistors. As expected NVIDIA released its 1st products manufactured by the technological process 16-nm FinFET,in 2016.It is believed that the 1st 16-nm chips NVIDIA GPUs will be based on the architecture of Pascal.

NVIDIA: TSMC Remain Important Industrial Partner
According to the industrial press, many developers are designing their new chips as chips at 16-nm TSMC,and a 14-nm technology standards Global Foundries or Samsung.A number of companies concerned as chip yield with a new type of transistors, and the availability of production facilities. The ability to produce identical products for different contract manufacturers seriously reduces the risks companies like Qualcomm,Marvell and others. It should be remembered that the price of production of chips for advanced technology increases in recent years. As a result, NVIDIA and other leading chip designers could use the fact of partnership with Samsung and Global Foundries, to improve their bargaining position with TSMC in regard to prices and volumes. Thus, not the fact that South Korean and American companies will have a large number of additional orders from NVIDIA and others. In addition, the big question is, is there for NVIDIA sense to have several production partners on the background of declining demand for discrete graphics processors.
