Kaspersky Lab found a very elaborate scheme to cyber espionage the implementation of which apparently there are a large state government agencies.It is reported that spyware spread over a firmware drives well known manufacturers.As a result customers are given the opportunity to attack silently read the data from the computers of their victims.More over this method of surveillance is very resistant to attempts to neutralize as malicious code remains even after a complete reinstall of the operating system and disk formatting.The study found that cyber espionage campaign has affected three dozen countries.In the 1st place the number of victims is Iran,followed by Russia,Pakistan,Afghanistan,China,Mali,Syria,Yemen and Algeria.Most often subjected to attacks by various government and military organizations,telecommunication companies,banks and financial institutions,energy companies and research institutes.
