SK Hynix plans to introduce more efficient memory chips such as DDR4 later this year.New products will operate at a higher clock speed compared to today’s chips DDR4 and quite likely will make it possible to create over clocking memory modules designed to operate at speeds over 3400 MHz,which will be useful coming out soon processors Intel Skylake-S.Currently,SK Hynix,Samsung Electronics and Micron Technology offer memory chips such as DDR4,which can run on the effective clock frequencies up to 2400 MHz 2.40 GHz.Top manufacturers of memory modules for enthusiasts should use special circuit boards as well as specially selected chips to create modules that can operate stably at frequencies 3-3,40 GHz.Starting from the 2nd quarter of 2015 the company will begin to supply SK Hynix memory chips samples DDR4 officially capable of operating at a frequency of 2,666 MHz according to the document at the disposal of journalists.The new chips will have a capacity of 4 Gbps,clocked at 2.66 GHz with CL17 17-17 timings and require a supply voltage of 1.2 volts.
